I can't believe we're stuck having to manually guess and trial and error X Y settings like this. How can you click and drag intuitively on the PREVIEW window to re-position FX parameters like X/Y from Boris and others? Premiere and Vegas have done this for years. Whether it's a focus spotlight plugin, a special blur, or any other type of FX, You can't. In Premiere Pro, Vegas, and other NLE programs you can add certain third party effects from say Boris, NewBlue, and many others and have the ability to easily and intuitively edit them.įor example, when applying all effects in Resolve from high end, expensive, professional plugin companies, I have no choice but to fiddle with the X Y positions manually, trial and error, over and over, to get the results I want.
